We present now one more heavyweight release:
Organized alongside Psicotropicodelia’s coordinators; The first album from dutch experimentalist EatMe brings 15 productions from 2007-2008 which range most of electronic breaks-based styles: breakbeats, drum & bass, breakcore, idm, chiptunes and electrobreaks; besides ambient, noise and hardcore techno.

The artwork – a visual compendium to the item’s sonic depth & amplitude – was once more made by Flavio Laza, previously responsible for design for Psicotropidelia Music Vol. 1 compilation and Retrigger’s "Jeanie and Caroline" album.

Uma resumida história de um dos cruciais equipamentos da música eletrônica: o sintetizador TB 303, que deu origem ao termo "ACID"...

Este produz sons filtrados de baixo e synths, que vão de frequências gordas e "borrachudas" até estridentes efeitos/glitches que marcaram gerações (usados por artistas tão diferentes quanto Inner City e Aphex Twin)...

O som Acid/oldskool vem, desde meados dos anos 90, se mantendo e metamorfoseando na cena experimental (muito mais que a proposta totalmente "pista" do iní­cio)... Nos anos 00s foi e é possí­vel conferir esta influência em IDM/Noise/Experimental, Breakcore e outros rótulos esquisitos!

A resumed 'history' of one of the most crucial equipments from electronic music: the TB 303 synth, which gave birth to the "ACID" termination...
This one generates filtered bass n' tab layers, which go from fat, 'synthetic' and fuzzy basses til' high pitched fx/ glitches, used by such differente artists as Inner City and Aphex Twin...

The Acid/oldskool sound comes, since the middle 90's, staying alive and morphing itself through the experimental scene (much more than its "dancefloor-only" beginnings)...
